99-01 Cobra IRS vs 03-04 Cobra IRS
Is there a difference between these two rears? I can get a 99 but Im wondering which is better or are they the same or what?

The latter were better, but I don't know what the difference was. I have never heard any problems with the 99-01, just that the 03-04 was stronger.

I know at the least 2003-2004 had bigger half-shafts and a 31 spline differential vs. a 28 for 1999, 2001.

The 03/04 had some beefier parts (just a few, including the larger half shafts evil mentioned). Also I believe the 03/04 cobras had 3.55 gears in the rear end as teh 99/01 only had 3.27.
