Anyone know where i can find out production figures of my gt? I only ask because i have owned it since 00' and i've never seen one like it. It is the original color. its called "deep violet metallic" and i have grey leather interior. Is this a rare car or has anyone seen one like this before?:dunno:
I bought mine new. Did a search in several states to find her. I settled for the purple GT after missing out on a Mystic Cobra with the same shade of purple in 1996. Mine has black leather interior. Has been my daily driver, grocery getter. Now with 75K miles. I also have a 2001 Bullitt - no. 1004, ordered new. Has just under 20K miles. -Joyce |
Wow thanks for the info you do have. Do You think that these cars will actualy be worth more in the future? Mine is a daily driver half the year and i've owned it since i was in high school back in 00'. yours is just like mine except the color of the leather in mine is grey

There was no spoiler delete for the sn95. You either have to... A. Find a v6 trunk in same color and no spoiler option. B. remove stock spoiler and have holes filled. |

The SN95 term generally refers to the 94-98 Mustangs, though the 99-04's were techincally SN95's as well they are better known as "New Edge".

I'm pretty sure you could order any sn 95 with out a spoiler except Mach 1s and cobras that had unique cobra spoilers ie:03/04. The 99-01 cars shared the same spoiler as the gt and could be ordered without one. The 40th Anniversary Edition package cars also did not come with spoilers because of their dual rallye stripes. |
Epperstang, I was refering to the 99-04 model since that was the model he had i was responeding to.

SEs of course don't fall into that. such as the bullet. but in that case you couldn't order it with the spoiler. The spoiler delete was a new option introduced in 2005. |
I don't know about Gts but i am 100% sure that 99-04 Cobras had the delete option. My friend Ryan bought an 01' Cobra without the spoiler and traded it in a few years later for an 03' Cobra without the spoiler. I must say the 99-04s don't look bad without the spoiler unlike the 94-98 those look terrible without it

I also have a deep violet 1997. There were more in 1996 than 1997. I once saw production figures that in 1997 only the Copper color was less common.
