need to know how to connect the wires. I don't have the '05 Ford connector so am going to splice the factory to my Infinity Reference speaker leads and need to know which wire goes where - anyone help me???

thx - Bradley

By the way - the speaker covers pry straight up (no need to remove the rear shelf carpet) and the speaker fasteners (screws) are the T20 size so a 1/4" ratchet and T20 socket fits perfectly to remove the factory speakers with ease........

Not yet, I swear it was in this sub-topic a few weeks ago, I looked all the way back to 04 and can't find it. I'm going to try the main forum real quick...

John - great news on picking up your new Stang today (hopefully)!! I did get the speakers installed last night - although my Infinity's did not line up with the factory holes - two were off just enough so I couldn't get the screws in....I'm either going to have to get an adapter or remove the Ford fastners and just drill a couple of holes per side.

Brad, if they are hooked up now how do they sound compared to the stockers?.. I too just got a set of the Audiobahn component "plate" 5x7's and hoping it makes a nice difference

Chris - better than stock - but I think I'm going to add an amp - just need to figure out the configuration......they do seem to have the full range of sound (contrary to what Ford is saying) but you have to adjust the fader to the rear a bit to balance them with the front speakers/bass.....and honestly - I'll probably upgrade to the Infinity Kappa speakers (that's what I had in my LS) and they were GREAT speakers.....I just had the infinity's left over and wanted to see what an decent aftermarket speaker would sound like.

Hey - we need to get a group of Stang owners together and meet in Simi Valley soem Sat. for lunch b4 too long....would really like to see what you and others are doing with their Stangs...
