Need some help on A-pillar panels

I am planning to remove the upper A-pillar trim and the lower kick panel on the passenger side, along with the passenger side door sill cover.

How are these panels retained to the vehicle? Do I simply pull straight out or are there any special tricks? I am really bad working with interior trim since i have a tendency to break things. Thanks in advance.

A pillar is easy, it is held on with clips and two pieces of velcro that simply pop off with enough pressure. Start at the side thats at the top of the window and work down to where it goes into the corner of the dash and windshield. It only takes like 15-20 seconds at the most once you get familiar with it.

I followed the Sound of Silence video instructions and found it was as easy as you described. Re-installing it was somewhat slower because the 2 tabs at the front didn't want to find their way home... I'm amazed at how flexible the plastic is, but it's probably because it's not 20 years old.
