Manual seats to power seats 2006 convertible
I have a convertible 2006 Mustang V6 that had cloth manual seats I just recently bought someone’s 2008 GT leather power seats and the wiring is different, can anyone point me in the right direction?

Got dang, I'm pert near amazin' at this searchin' them intarwebs, I tell ya. I ain't even gonna not brag about this one.
No kidding, I didn't know. But I was curious. Now I know. I googled it, went to an image search and lo and freakin' behold... it's ON THIS SITE. I was sorta surprised and amazed I found it, but yessireebobs, there it was... and is:
https://themustangsource.com/forums/...-05-up-471550/
The whole thing is relevant, but for your question, post 3 by Kevin, he shows the changes between the '05-'06 and the '07 and up wiring. The circuts, such as 1919 and 1917 and so on, are listed between those connectors.
Not sure this would be terribly helpful without the '07 and up version, but here's '05-06 wiring diagram for the seats: http://iihs.net/fsm/?d=40&f=Seating.pdf You may need to source an '07-up, or maybe go to a friendly Ford dealership parts counter and ask them if they can get you the diagrams... maybe service... or maybe you know someone... IDK...
And then maybe a trip to a scrap yard for an '07-?? body-side seat harness for the connectors... OR... an '05-06 for the ones in the seat... OR... your own whatever you wanna do as long as you can disconnect on occasion (maybe a trailer harness...? Just be sure to document your work...)
...and other things to make all that wiring work and you'll have those seats workin' in no time!... well, ok, some time, but easily!... well, ok maybe not *so* easily, but still, they'd work, and that's all that counts, right?
Hope that helps. And welcome to the forums!
/BTW, if anyone wanted to know what I googled... "2005 vs 2008 mustang seat wiring". Then hit the images. There it was. Tada and stuff.
//Also BTW, absolutely not saying anything about anyone's searching. No sirs/madams. I ain't that guy. It's more I'm surprised at Google hitting the mark, it's usually a wild goose chase on some of this stuff, y'know? It finds just about anything else BUT what you want most of the time. So that it showed up really amused me.
///Slashies are nifty.
