Ok... i'm not flaming you... I'm honestly curious. Why would you pay the extra money for the leather if you didn't want to sit on it?

Leather is durable and easy to clean. Just enjoy the look, the feel, and the smell of the leather. Don't cover it up.

I have always been told that you should NOT put covers on leather, because it is a natural product, and it can't "breathe" when it's covered. As a result, you uncover it in a few years and it's all dried out and cracked.

Don't know if that's true, but I'd just use it and enjoy it!

If you get the side air bags, I don't think that you are supposed to use seat covers. The air bags are in the seat backs and can't deploy properly if they're covered.

I don't think I have ever seen a seat cover that looked good. They always look like, well, seat covers. Agree with others, enjoy your seats! If someday you want to restore the old 05, the seats will be available.

Here's a site that makes custom neoprene covers. My father-in-law has owned vette's all his life and has used covers from them on his past 2 vette's. http://wetokole.net/

I ordered some of those lst night. Expensive at around $300 for just the front seats, but I think it will make my interior look really good. :-D

Tan interior panel, black side panel, with tan half piping, and a green pony on it too! Custom fit for the 2005 Mustang! Should match my Medium Parchment interior, and Lime exterior pretty well. :nice:

I guess your Father-in-law liked them since he used them twice? How did they look? :dunno:

Make sure if you have the side airbags, that the covers 'breakaway' and are compatible.

They look real nice...His color choice isn't quite the same as mine though. His current vette is similar to the sonic blue stang color and he got bright red seat covers similar in color to the red accent package color that you can get in the stang.
