Factory Red Leather Seat Covers?
Does anybody know where to get 2 sets of upper and lower OE red leather seat covers? I just talked to Ford and they were going for 800 bucks per seat. That is steep! I am tryin to get ready to sell my car and the seats are not in perfect condition. They have a little of the coloring rubbed off. On the other hand I don't want to put 1600 bucks in seat covers that I will never get back.

Yeah that dye wearin off pisses me off to no end. It's not really that bad, but I know if I trade the dealership will try and run me through on the trad in value for it. Oh well, may just stick a for sale sign on it and see what happens.

saw a set on ebay, but i am sure that one is worse than yours.
can't think of any place that sells oem red leather seats, but there is the classic pony-style, a "sport" style, and mach 1-style seats. if you just get vinyl, front AND back are about $500. leather goes for a bit over $800. plus you can customize the color combination.
supposedly the crimson red sport-style seat covers will match the mustang's oem rear seat color. that way you don't have to change out the back? idk. afaik, they only sell the whole set though but at least you could maybe save on the labor to install the rears.
i have been waiting for a good excuse to pick me up a set.

It might be easier to call a few junk yards (ooops I mean designated automotive recycling centers) and see if you can get the whole seat cheaper than the covers, then sell your old seats.
