A couple weeks ago I finished a component speaker install in my doors, but didn't have a chance to take any "during" photos. Anyway, detailed my interior today so I thought I'd post a couple shots of my custom tweeter location. The components are boston acoustics se50's. I also installed Boston full range speakers in the rear deck, and it sounds really great. The tweeters are angled so that when the doors shut they point pretty much right at the driver.

 

I installed a component set last year too , but my tweeters are in front of the handle. Boy what a difference it makes having the tweeters up higher , I think even reversing the OEM speakers so the tweeter is on top would help them ...
