I have a question on the '06 Automatic T handle? Would it be possible to fix this (like sanding and plasti dipping it)? or Should I look around a salvage yard for another? I have looked around online and it's mostly the entire kit which I don't need.
saw you on FB. I was the one who suggested to replace it with a 2010+ version. heh. :P
But if you want to keep it, sand the silver until smooth and either plasti dip it or repaint it.
Ive plasti dipped my center console years ago and it still looks great.
They've got many colours in plasti dip.
Dont forget to put a top coat on it!
I'd replace it with a leather wrapped one too, but be warned that you will need the entire assembly, as the shaft on the current assembly is not the same diamter as the 2010+ *****..
