'05 Shaker 500 to '08 Shaker 500
So I posted this before the hack, but never got to read any responses. Here's the deal.
I have head unit that came out of an 08, and I have noticed that the antenna connectors are different. I wanted to know if there was an adapter, and if anyone could confirm the correct adapter for this swap. thanks!

Cody,
Yeah check a site like crutchfield.com. I'm sure they will have something that can adapt the two. Pretty sure the 05 has a standard style anenna connection on the radio and at some point they went to a different style. One of the two below should get you running again.

Here are directions for taking out an Old Shaker 500 for those interested.
1) Open the center console. Remove the two phillips head screws at the back of the console opening ( on top ).
2)Pull emergency brake all the way up.
3)Lift the console cover up, pull back, and work over brake handle
4)Remove screw on each side of lower center console that was covered up by the center console cover you just removed. These screws will be where the two consoles meet.
5)Remove side cover from each side. They just pop off.
6)Remove 6 bolts holding on faceplate. Unplug airbag, power port, and flashers. Unplug fan and climate control plugs. Remove face plate.
7)Remove 4 bolts holding radio in place.
Turn the directions upside down to put it all back together
NOTE: the AC connectors are Very difficult to get off.
