hi guys,
this is actually on the mrbodykit site.

this is the trufiber hood. phil told me that mrbodykit is reselling their hood.

i think it looks absolutely AMAZING!!! aggressive and bad-*** :)

this is exactly the way i will paint my stripes on my car....

i wonder whose car this is...

i like how the ram air vents start from the edge of the hood as opposed to the cervini....

i also like the sharp edges as compared to DCF. It makes the front end look more aggressive.

thanks all...

Thats is sick.....:nice:

here is the difference...

no sharp angled edges on the DCF....its very subtle...unlike the aggressive edges of the trufiber :)

i love the trufiber!!

I prefer the DCF

I think it looks MUCH better painted and with strips then in raw form. Only thing that bothers me is that the back of the hood nostrils is straight and not to the contour of the rear portion of the hood. That part is dissapointing.

I was worried that the hard lings would look bad but doesnt look half bad. Although even after seeing those pictures it makes me lean more towards the Cervinis 68' hood which has less agressive scoop openings and the rear of hood is contoured correctly(JMO). Just waiting to see it painted!

Nice hood nontheless

hood should arrive at my shop end of next week july 27 friday.

i cant wait to get this done! :)

thanks all...

cant go wrong with cervini either. for me, i like the small details of the ram air vents starting from the very edge and the fact that the RAM air is built into the hood itself rather than another $250 for the Cervini ram air kit.

you cant see that the raised middle ram air section of the trufiber is more edgey and higher up than the DCF??

I dont care for ram air, HP increase is a joke and nothing worth bragging over in all honesty. Actually worries me that with rain it may dump way too much into a consentrated spot over the airbox/filter.

OK, this picture compared to the pic of the Trufibre above says it all for me...The DCF looks subtle and natural,. kind of like ford put it there from the factory. The trufibre looks like it is trying to hard and is NOT a natural look like the DCF.
DCF hands down for me, so, those of us who like the DCF, How do we get one???

YAO, I am not flaming your car at all, I am very glad you love it...JMHO!

YaoNYC 7/22/07 01:10 PM

dcf and trufiber are both good...just a matter of taste....

Just different looks...more choices for our rides......
Diff company has diff styles that they decide to make....It jsut diff preference ...you might like DCF and I might like Trufiber.....
We buy whatever we think that would make our car look bad @ss....

I think TF hood is more like the 68 style...
As long as..in the end, we are happy with the product we bought...

Peace out..!!!.:hail:
