Are these decent? HID's

I've always wanted to install HID's, but they've always been pricey and i didnt know if they were worth the money. I don't have much knowledge of them. So if someone has knowledge of them I would greatly appreciate your help. Are these quality? The ebay seller seems legitimate. I just dont know enough about them to decipher whether thy're good or not. Thanks

that is not a dual beam kit, meaning it does not have high beams.

imo, just go with the HIDguy kit (this one) It's a dual beam kits, and it's what most everyone on here has (including myself) Also, they have great service. Worth the money very much.

I got mine from HID guy and I had to call about one small installation issue and the technical service person was very professional and knew exactly what I was talking about. He was able to answer my question in like two seconds. I haven't had any problems with my headlight(high/low) and foglight 8000k kits. I think they even give or did give a discount for buying multiple kits at the same time. Good luck!

Don't forget brightness! A lot of people go with HID's for the look and whatnot, but if you want a better light as well, aim for something close to 5000K.

I wouldn't do 4200K or 5000K, that just looks like you have your high beams on. If you want HIDs that don't look yellow or white but have a hint of blue, get the 6000K temperature, slim or non-slim ballast, it doesn't matter one bit.

I got mine 3 years ago, from this guy:

$68, free shipping, NO ISSUES! Plug and play, no splicing, no hassles

Now THAT"s a price that I've been looking for....As long as you haven't had any issues with them then I'm sold.
Now are these gonna get me pulled over? Do they give off a bad glare? I read somewhere that some mustang owners altered the bulbs so there wasn't as much glare. Any truth to that from your knowledge?

in my experience with HID's, the "glare" half of the time is bad aiming of the headlights. i used to get flashed by people coming the other way, but every since i adjusted my headlights, not 1 person has flashed me.

got mine from HIDguy.net and i have no complaints. they are about a year old and they are the same as when i first installed them. . i was also alittle confused on the wiring (my own ignorance) and so i called their customer service. the guy picked up the phone, i had my answer in about 30 seconds and i finished the install without a hitch. it also wasnt some guy from india or god only knows. for once i was finally able to understand a customer service representitive since he was prob from upstate ny or california or something hahahah

Never got pulled over for the lights. Got pulled over once at night and the officer didn't say anything about them.

No bad glare, the line cuts cleanly and the road is bright and clear now. 6000K is a BIG difference between the yellow yolk looking from factory and HIDs. Don't look back, get them! And don't go spending $200+ when you can get it for a fraction! Some people abuse the "good reputation" they get over the years and think they can charge outrageous prices for things that do not cost as much.

Yeah I don't really understand the high price interval between companies/products. I didn't want to spend even $100 on em

I have the VVME which is under $100. The only issue I had was a ballast going out but it was due to a poor connection on my part. $8 later I had a new ballast. If I was to do it over again I would go with the HIDGUY kit just for the slim ballasts. Also when you get your kit you will only use one headlight plug. I took a bad headlight bulb, removed the bulb and filled the base with black silicone. I then put it on the unused headlight plug as a cover.

If you look between the arrows of this pic you can see one ballast and the relay mounted next to the engine computer. The arrows are where I mounted the ground and positive wires.

Mine was plug and play, I had only one connection for the light, no ground, no power, just the ballast and bulb. I don't know what's going on with yours Deric...

The relay harness takes the power from one of the headlight plugs and uses it as a signal to close the relay. The relay then sends power to both ballasts straight from the battery. Turn your headlights off, the relay opens and no drain on the battery.
