Purchased this set from Meter4it. I've had em on for ages, and have gotten many requests to record a clip of them. Well, here it is, with some music from my samples folder (lol).
(And my other Mustang!)

Did you install them yourself or what?

Route 66 10/17/05 10:36 PM

Nice video. Could have been about 15 seconds though. Oh ya, I thought that dog was gonna start laughing at me!

I got them installed at a local shop, BUT should have done them myself anyway. One of the connections was loose and my lights wouldn't fully turn onthe left side after a week. I basically took apart the light harness and the trunk, and re-did all the wiring. I'm 100% happy with them!

Haha yea it could have been shorter, but I had some free time and decided to make it fully loaded. And Lucky was a great ending :).

I really don't want to do any appearance mods on mine until I've done all the performance ones first, but those are just plain sick. I'm gonna have to get them.

Gash05 10/18/05 12:24 AM

how much did they charge to install?

Go for it. You seriously won't regret them. My ex girlfriend always used to say "your gonna look like an idiot with those."

I guess that's why she stares at em all the time when I am passing by her house.

I got em installed for $200, but that was including DynaMatt material for my trunk.

I have the WebElectric ones installed on mine, but dangit, yours look a lot cooler!
:nice:

Paris MkVI 10/18/05 08:04 AM

More information, please, on where to get these sequentials!

adrenalin 10/18/05 10:35 AM

hmmm, they seem to be faster than the webelectronics. Yours look good but I like it when the sequence is a bit slower.

atomicvibe 10/18/05 10:43 AM

Please pardon my ignorance, but I have two questions:

1. What differentiates "Chase" sequentials from the WebElectric sequentials?
2. I'm guessing the setup for these is a LOT more involved than that of the WebElectric version, no?

Honestly I don't know about the installation about the Webelectric's Sequential lights, but this wasn't hard at all.

"Chase" lights, like the lights I have, turn ON one by one and also turn OFF one by one, making it look like the lights are "chasing" each other. Sequential lights turn ON one by one, but turn off altogether.

On the Meter4it kit, you can also revert back to stock settings, and have the third brake light turn on, too. I think that's just sick. :nice:

Looks great Chris. Love the end though with "Lucky".

atomicvibe 10/18/05 10:51 AM

WebElectric offers a plug-and-play version.
Seems VERY simple from the description on their site.
Meter4It's seems like there is wire cutting and splicing involved.
I just checked their site.
NOW I see the difference.
VERY cool.

:nice:

I'd much rather cut/splice a few wires and have something awesome :jester:

adrenalin 10/18/05 11:59 AM

I wouldn't say 1 is better than the other. It is a personal preference and I prefer something that is easy to install :)

And I prefer something that looks awesome.

adrenalin 10/18/05 01:49 PM

and that is why I went with the webelectronics kit
