I bought a rear spoiler that I plan on installing this weekend. Anyone else do this themselves? Any advice to give? I took it out of box and placed it on trunk for pics....
I hear ya !!!! It scares me drilling holes into my car !!!
Was debating having it professionally done but a buddy of mine says we can do it.
Putting the rocker panel stripes was hard enough but taught me to take my time and measure often !!!

i personally wouldn't put a spoiler on a spoilerless car cuz out of all the ones you see how many are actually wingless lol (they almost all seem to have spoilers) but put tape where youre drilling holes I think that keeps the paint from chipping as bad. my dad and I installed that same spoiler in his front yard. its not bad.
Yeah, I felt like my mustang was naked without it. So glad to finally afford one!!! The mods get expensive and addicting....not to mention passing them by the wife. My friend said the same thing about the tape.
Well it is bolted on and looks pretty good. Makes a huge difference, I love it! It was way easier than I thought.
If anyone else is thinking of doing it themselves go for it, I will be happy to offer advice. Let me know what you guys think ......
I want to get new front grill with halo fog lights.....then it's stripes...I'm thinking black but not sure if I want the lemans stripes or the single super snake stripe......any suggestions?
