Are the ROUSH 1/4 louvers "REAL" slits or fake?

Anyone else have these installed? How do you like them?

I am tired of waiting for MRT, their story changes a lot, and I like the roush ones from what I can tell, so I am going to try those.

Where is the best place to order them?
:dunno:  PLEASE HELP........thanks

I got mine thru my sister who works at a dealership. I got the front fascia and chin spoiler as well. The louvers were $110. Best price I had seen online was $142 from Factory Roush Parts not sure about the shipping charge from them. They're $168 directly from Roush.

Hmm...it's her (my sister) last day on Friday. I can ask her and see what she says. I ordered and paid for mine the day before she gave her notice. I'll give her a call.

Thanks. Hey what do you think about those screw looking holes on it? good? Bad? THat was the only think I was worried about. THanks for checking on it for me,

Grim 5/10/05 01:46 PM

Well, my sister doesn't think it's a good idea. :notnice: She doesn't want it to appear as if she is taking advantage and burn any kind of good standing she has with the dealership. I wish I could help, but it's kind of her call. If it wasn't so soon after I had just ordered mine, might have been able to work something out. Sorry I couldn't help. :(

Well, my car is black...so they kind of blend in pretty well. Even still, they don't really bother me too much. I was only worried that they got drilled onto the body, but they don't.

Thanks anyway.....please post pics of them installed....

Will do :nice: Probably getting everything installed Memorial Day weekend, trying to get everything coordinated with the paint guy and install guy.

Sorry I couldn't help with the louvers. Maybe try getting in touch with 05stangkc, I think he's a parts guy for a dealership out in California. Originally my sister said they didn't get discounts on the Roush parts, but aparently they do. That's why I hurried and got mine ordered before she quit. Anyway, maybe 05stangkc can get you a deal on the louvers.

LOL .... man, I got myself in trouble now. I didn't know I could get a discount on the Roush stuff until a day or two before I ordered them, cause they had told me months before that they didn't get to use their discount on Roush parts. I just had her check the price to see if it was a little cheaper than from Roush. When she told me she was quitin, she was like.."you better order these now." I really wish my sister wasn't quiting, cause she has definetly been gettin me hooked up so far. Luckily i've been gettin to know some of the people in the body shop (where she works) and parts department, so i'll have some connections for getting work done and such.
