Went to discount tire today and they just received American Racing's new book. It had an 05 with wheels that fit. They have a new style that i didn't find out their website called gt5. It is a 19inch fan blade. It was beautful. I would recommend swinging by your store and taking a look. I know the thread is useful without pics but I couldn't take their catalogue.

yeah, guess they are different...so they aren't chrome then? Are they brushed aluminum or some other material? Also, the car you saw them on, was it in person at discount or in a photo? Thanks bro....

They are chrome and start out at 19s. They were in the American racing booklet. He said he had just received it. They have a couple rims in there for the mustang.

I was at discount tire today for tires and asked about these wheels. (Cost, weight & availability). They called AR who said they wouldn't be available til late February. Gave no further info. Just a note for anyone interested!

I don't know...

Am I the only one that doesn't wanna look like they're from the ghetto?

IMO, a lot of these after-market wheels just take away from the car...and too many are just way too big.

Anyway, whatever floats your boat. Enjoy.

I agree. There's so much chrome out there, it's like auto alarms, nobody even notices anymore.

Personally I like Chip Foose's stuff but I don't like the Lusso's on the stango.

I have placed an order for the GT5 from AR. I am getting the 19's. Some will say bling-bling. I say it is only 1" bigger than the 18's most people want to put on their cars so no big deal. The rubber is going to have a 4" sidewall instead of 5 so it will not be that noticeable anyway.

Now just have to wait which is no problem since I don't need them for a few months (darn Canadian snow). I just want to make sure I get them fitted so I have them ready for the first warm day
