Watching helplessly as the Pony gets pounded...

One reason not to get a convertible...

The damage on my car is bad... Every metal panel has damage and has to be repaired...

for the love of god man. I feel so bad for you...you have no idea. I could not even imagine that happening to my car, but at the end of the day it is just material things (Right?) You will be up and running before you know, and think of it this way fresh new paint job and excuse for more mods. Keep your head up man.

I went thru this is 2006. I own my Mustang now and all the dents were repaired by paintless dent repair and a new hood was put on the car. I was sick for weeks on end, I feel your pain.

Oh yeah insurance covers this but the real pain is not the damage to the car but the $1000 deductible. I am not really sick with grief but the only thing that bothers me is that it was a perfect car in original condition and with all this damage the originality is spoiled. I have to worry about the hassel of getting the car fixed and making sure they do it right restoring it to original condition and finding all the dings. I just got my economic stimulus check and this is not how I wanted to spend it by paying a deductable.

A hood is easy to replace but the roof damage and all the dings along the upper bodysides, side roof rails and quarter panels bother me.

What did not sustain any damage was the glass and the spoiler. I wish the whole car was made of that plastic the spoiler was made from.

Anyway material things can be replaced. As long as my family and my pets are okay I am greatful. The only other things that would bother me besides loss of loved ones is if I lost photos and sentimental things that I could not possibly replace.

No garage at my home nor at my sister's house. Me and my sister took my mother and my sister's in-laws out for mother's day dinner in Albemarle, NC (no Kellie Pickler sightings...LOL) about 20 miles from Concord where my sister lives. By the time we got back to my sister's house we learned that a tornado was spotted in Lincoln County just west of there. The storm tracked east right over my sister's house. My sister was lucky that her car parks under a carport but the rest of us parked in her yard, so her husband's truck, my mom's car and mine got pounded.

I just missed a tornado at my house in Gastonia early friday morning while we were sleeping. It came within 2 miles from my place and cut a path. There was no mess or debris in my yard but just 2 miles away it was a mess. My mother was visiting from Greenville South Carlolina and we were all joking she should go back home and take the tornadoes back with her... LOL!

Ouch!

On the brighter side, take a sharpie and copy Tiger Wood's signature on the side and have a rolling golf ball.

Sorry to hear about your car, and your loss of originality. But as they say, the point of a mustang is to make it your own, hopefully you can add some cool stuff in the process and go further with your car. Good Luck!

Wow, weather is just getting crazier every year! Seems like every corner of our country has something to worry about. Hail, tornados, earthquakes, drought, floods, volcanic eruptions, hurricanes, etc. are all hitting with greater frequency.

Watchdevil, so sorry about your car! When we get hail in the NW, it's no bigger than a 1/4 inch pellets. We just have to dodge earthquakes and volcanos around here, plus year 'round rain (at least it's warmer rain in the summer).
