Well I picked up my car from the Striper/Tinter last night and the stripes (vinyl) were wrong! They were supposed to be a 15" down the middle a 1" gap and a 1"stripe on both sides. The stripes on the side were only a 1/4"!!! Then they also didn't finsh the back end the whole way down.
They were closed when I picked it up so I couldn't do anything until this morning. When I went back this morning and talked to them they were nice about it and are going to correct it. When I talked to the striper he said he didn't go the whole way down on the back because he didn't know if it would work? I showed him pictures of other vinyl striped 05's that have the same specs. He said he would try and get it to work. The guy has 15 years of experience so I expected more I guess. The part that are striped correctly do look beautiful though. They are going to fix it next week.
The tint looks awesome. 35% on the sides and 15% on the back (MO Legal).
If anyone has any tips I can pass on to him about striping the back please let me know.

Do a search here on striping the 05. Your striper will have to have one or two horizontal seams to do the back properly, or else the stripes will not end up straight vertically.

Well I hope he can fix the problem for you. Keep in mind, even my nephew says he has 4 years installing vinyl. He is 10 years old and has been putting "stickers" on his school binders for the past 4 years. Just cause someone says they have 15 years experience does not mean they have been doing difficult installs.
By the way, I think you car looks cool. Are you going to finish the front bumper as well?
