FYI:
I ordered the domed stickers through a guy I found on eBay: http://www.ebay.com/usr/devriessignsatgmail. His name is Roger DeVries who can be reached at devriessigns@gmail.com. He can do custom orders as well. I ordered 2 stickers from him for $30 (1 Yankees and 1 Superman) and he threw in the transformers steering wheel cover for free. He also does center cap covers for wheels. Happy Holidays guy & gals! |
I had to remove the "GT" that was on mine because the lettering was raised, did you have to remove anything to apply these stickers?
|
ok, I read his ebay page, answered my own question.

American Muscle has instructions on removal for installing an aftermarket piece.

The person you responded to was asking how to remove the center of the faux gas cap not the entire cap. The instructions you posted were on removing the entire faux gas cap. :) So far I haven't found any instructions on that. Most aftermarket discs are stick on.

Can you even dismantle the faux cap?
|
I'd guess carefully with a heat gun and something thin to start prying it up with. Maybe a thin guitar pic or a spudger (thin metal tool for taking apart phones). If you could get it started with your finger nail, dental floss might work too.
