20s for sure, with a few different colours/finishes, lip would be a must as well as staggered

18's would be fine, just as long as i can fit some big tires in the back

As far as sizes, I would vote for staggered 20x8.5/20x10, more lip in the back to emphasize it. Gunmetal color (medium gray) with polished center spokes and lip.

Something like this (sorry for the quick chop):

Of course, 18" sizes and a black color to really emphasize the small spokes would be good options as well.

BTW, if anyone is doesn't see the thumbnail, or can't view the large image, go to your cp and make sure it displays images in the [IMG]. I had a problem with this on Kevin's original post as well.

Those look really good, and yes, they look a lot like the ones you made, Chris. Definitely need black or blue center caps.

I called Shelbywheels, and they told me, while no real timetable is set, these should be out by the end of the year at the latest. Can you confirm this Kevin? Thanks for the info.

For crying out loud, Shelby's own wheels don't fit the GT500! Are they working on this??

This is a BIG disapointment! I had my choice narrowed down to 2 different wheels, these (as long as they came in 18") and a set of Halibrand Cobra III's, w/the knock-off. Now that these aren't coming out for a while (should I say LONG while ), I guess come winter, I'll be adding some new Halibrands to my car. It's a shame, as I really liked the look of these, and was hoping to see them online come October, when I last heard when they may have been released. Oh well, I guess Shelby Wheels doesn't get my $$$$. Does anyone know of a good place to get the 18" Halibrand Cobra III's at a good price? Kevin, can you help on this?
