Like the black billet better. The honey comb has some holes opened and some closed on the grill, I don't like that...

Everything has a reason, some simply cosmetic, but for the car to run you have to fill some gaps on the grille opening. I found out (by driving) the hard way. |
I also agree the Bullitt grille is the better choice! I had one on mine for awhile until an unfortunate front end collision ended it all... I cut out all the honeycomb as I didn't care for the look of all the blanks. I used hood pins as I wasn't going to take any chances of the increased airflow ripping my hood off. I used a '07 V6 Pony Package emblem for the grille. I attatched it by putting epoxy on the emblem pins and sticking it in the very corners of two of the honeycomb sections. It worked great!

There's an Engineer that takes great pride in those closed holes. I'm sure someone did some CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamic) runs on that grille. If you put a completely open grille across the opening and run the car over 85mph, better have some hood pins, or the rear hood seal removed.

Worse is I'm only half kidding. |
