Galpin ford is painting my side mirrors for $230. They were originally charging me $350. That's the only thing their doing to my car because they are WAY over priced. My question is... When I asked him about sanding the mirrors, prepping, and painting them, he told me that you couldn't sand the plastic. He said it would bubble over or something. But it seems like a lot of members on this site have had theirs sanded. Also he mention using something to harden them. Is he talking about Bondo? Is Bondo Ok? There were other mustang's there with painted mirrors, and they looked ok. Actually they looked really nice.
