Finally broke down a bought new rims.

Needed 18's for the track next month to match a set of Kumhos I had lying around so I picked up 4 18x9 ASAs from Tirerack.

Front requires a 5mm spacer to clear the brakes. I really like the look.

Tires are too low profile, 265/35/18. But I had these in the garage and will be using them for an event at Putnam Park next month. I will then upgrade to 275/40/18 all the way around.

Not bad rims for under $1K for the entire set.

Pic below and links to others.

I don't so much care for euro style wheels on american iron, so i would prefer those on an M3 or such. But it seems like all the other opinions are positive and obviously you like them, so enjoy.

I have the tirerack.com picture of the black mustang with those exact rims as the background on my desktop. I always wondered if they would look as good as I hoped in real life. Uh, yeah, they do! I'm sold, there will soon be a black 05 with spoiler delete running with the same rims as you! That looks fantastic!

Don't have any pics from the rear on hand right now...I'll try to shoot on and update the thread.

My intention after my track event is to go with 275/40/18 at all four coners. Can rotate that way. Will fit no problem.

I think you could even squeeze a 285/40/18 in the back as well.

That's because they are "licensed by BBS". I really like the look of these rims!

WBROWNIE, question for ya. Did the 5mm spacer bring the stance of the wheel out much? Did you have to get longer lug bolts?

Don't need longer studs..

Misposted above...you asked about 275 on the front...definitely doable.

WBROWNIE, did the spacers come from tirerack too? Or did you have to buy them after the wheels were delivered? Just curious, maybe someday my car will come, and then I will need to know these things!
