I'd be surprised if he didn't. I can't see either wanting to go separate ways. A compromise will be reached.

If he's about the team, he'll stay. If it's about the Benjamins, he's outta there.

/And I'm goin' with Bennies, but that's just me.

It's business, no player stays for the team.

No, there's the occasional one that does here and there... but I'm gonna go with Pujols isn't one of those rarities.

that's a quarter of a billion dollars. BILLION......with a B.

They must have wanted him bad. NO WAY he'll perform at that high of a level in 10 years (without juice that is)... I bet they put that money and term out there just to make sure they got him....fully understanding that the last few years wont be worth it....but short term it is if they can get a championship or two in the next 5 years.... the rest will be in merch sales..

AL/Angels makes sense in that he can shift to designated hitter.

As much money as he is going to give the state of California they should at least name a highway after him. I mean he will have paid for it. Along with a hospital and a school.

I think he chose the Angels just so he could beat up on the Rangers more often.

Well since it looks like the Astros are moving to the AL he can continue to beat up on them too.
