Hockey in California
I didn't see a hockey thread, so I thought I'd start one. Second round of the playoffs and my favorite team is still playing. I live in So Cal but I have been a Red Wings fan since 96. My ex turned me onto hockey and my favorite team. I got to keep the team and my car after the divorce. Not a bad deal.
Who are you looking forward to watching?

Moving to our 'Sports' section, but will leave a link for a couple of days . . .
And a 'Hawks fan here! Last time we get to see the Blackhawks v Wings in the Western Conference . . . wish Columbus or Nashville would have went to the East in realignment!

That would be the only loss with the move to the Eastern Conference... I enjoy the Chi-Town and Mo-Town sports rivalries other than that I am stoked to see the Wings in the Eastern Conf.... no more staying up till early morning hours to see them lose a game in OT and having to get up all grumpy and at work by 7

The comeback from the Bruins last night =
My girlfriend wanted me to shut it off. But I always tell her "You never know whats going to happen". This is especially true in hockey.
Go B's!

I agree with the hawks and wings series being one to watch. I think all 4 matchups look good. You have an original six matchup in each conference. And a lot of talent to watch. Should be fun.

That will be amazing. I like to watch all the teams that are left. They all bring an interesting blend of skills. The penguins team reminds me of the wings in 2002. Just loaded with talent up front with 2 good defenders and a lot of average after that.
The bruins are just powerful and mean. They bring that evil will crushing forecheck sprinkled with plenty of skill. It should be a blast to watch.

Since the Rangers are gone I'm lost...I have nobody to pull for, but I've counted omn either the Kings or the Blackhawks winning it since the beginning.

The kings are looking slow and over matched. The bruins seem to have the big badness going on. What do we think the final will look like? How many games in each conference final before its over?
