I think the car is coming together pretty well - the proto is still better, but it is good to see the final car still looking pretty sweet.
However, the yellow/silver color combo has to go...just my 2 cents.

Look like they didn't fix the hood.

Looks pretty good (except the Coddington yellow/silver color combo). Hopefully that will be the production front (I like the lip).
I hope they paint the stripes though, as those stickers just don't cut it for me. They look great for vinyl (especially how close they got around the hood vents), but the rear just looks cheap and poorly done to me.
Still wish they would paint the rockers, but I know that isn't going to happen. It looks like it is riding two feet off the ground and dragging it's chin.
JMHO.

When I first saw the yellow car with the new hood and the silver vinyl stripes, I was thinking "Here goes the old bait and switch again." Now that they have stripes actually cut for that hood and they have the black splitter on the back like the concept car, I think it is shapping up to look pretty good. I still like the concept better overall, but in reality it is a concept and a lot of the things on it aren't feasible. I do think black stripes would look a lot better though.

The color of the stripes are NOT necessarily representative of an actual color to be used. That color helps with seeing the contour lines of the hood during the development time now. No mention was made to me of what colors are planned.
This information was from one of the helpful SVT staff.

Agreed, that car should have black stripes.
.... or better yet be Black or Sonic.

Oh, and are they just using a Sonic Blue as a mule since that's what was available and the real blue to be offered will be Vista? Or will they continue Sonic only on the Shelby. I'm thinking it's my first thought.
