Roush has a new aesthetic look to their website. They have details about the Stage 2 components and price. Doesn't seem to be a great deal of difference between Stage 1 and Stage 2. This is somewhat disappointing.

Sounds like alot of money for a bodykit and wheels. I'm saving my dough for a S/C =)

[QUOTE]The Roush Stage 2 Mustang package contains the 260 HP producing SOHC V8 and other core components offered in the Stage 1 package, with stunning cosmetic and suspension upgrades.
 WOW...... thats Roush tuning!!! They made 300 horses to 260! |
:rofl3: You're right!!!

Omg what idiots, they just put in their old description of the last gen mustang. LMAO
|
Yeah, they really need to get all that stuff worked out. They are making themselves look pretty bad, not to mention all their products have been taking a lot longer than originally planned, and is it just me or does their new site remind you a whole lot of the Saleen website??
|
Not really, the Saleen website is defenantly better :shame: . The saleen website is probably the best I've seen so far. I have to say that i have more respect for the saleen mustangs then the roushes right now. As already said, i dont see a whole lot of diffrence from the stage 1 to the stage 2. I mean between the first two Saleen mustangs (3V and the SC) there is a 75 hp diffrence (325 to 400). There is 0 diffrence between the two roushes (and they are both still only 300!). In all fairness to roush, however, depending on what options you get you might be able to but two roushes for a saleen :notnice:. If only saleen could lower thier prices! :bang:

Roush Stage 1 list doesn't have any handling upgrades, S2 does (springs, sway bar, etc...). This isn't going to get you an increase in hp, though
Does the Saleen SC really only net an additional 75hp? A $5K sc for 75hp? Holy cow. Saw a S281SC at Frits Ford and it looked sweet. WAY over-priced, though. I think I'd rather throw down for Roush's SC and enjoy the benefit of their vehicle warranty. I agree, their website and delays in production aren't helping their image, but their actual products are very good. I think they just must have some very poor business people fronting a good design company, which is a shame. When I saw this thread, I checked out the site and it had old images, poorly cropped from somewhere with a white background, pasted onto a dark background. The images had a white 'halo', the cut and paste job was so amateurish. |
