Blender 2.49, it has a sculpt feature sorta like Z Brush. Not quite as powerful as Z brush but it did a good job on this model.

I am working on normal mapping it now, its a pain in the butt. But thats part of learning on your own, making beginner mistakes that you just don't know about until it happens.

I took a break a bit on this as I was called on by the church to help do a video project.

Check out the short vid that I had to film and edit last week.

No, he is just playing Mike Rowe...if Mike Rowe put on a few pounds :jester:

I just finished up another video, filmed yesterday, edited today. Was a pain to edit, cutting 30 mins of footage to 5 min.

They are trying to do videos of different ministries so this was the first segment we did.

Man that looks awesome. :nice:

Knight Apr 21, 2010 09:22 AM

Thanks.

Well as much as I like the way it is coming out too bad the low detail model can't look as awesome as the high detail model.

here is a comparison of the two models.

That looks wicked. :nice: What a difference between the two.

Knight Apr 22, 2010 03:50 PM

I found out why there is a such a huge difference, it was due to my bump map. I havn't even worked on it other then making sure i have one. So it will look much better once i do that.

I am working on one map at a time. First was the normal map, second which i am doing now the texture map, third will be bump and forth the specular map.

Dude that thing looks extremely evil. I like it. :nice:
