I bought the car for 14,500 with 21,000 miles on it,I've done some minor things to it louvers, system,in dash gps,I want to do something that gave it more pop,I was thinking about supercharging the car,I wanted to know if it's worth the money to do it or not.

Everyone will have different opinions but the bottom line is, if it makes you happy then go for it. Just keep in mind how much everything would cost. And if you want to spend that much on your car or save that money for something else. I had an 04 before my 12, and was going to do a lot to it but decided to just do some minor exterior stuff to make it look nice and save for a brand new mustang.

If that's your end plan for the car, then yes. Otherwise, you should've just bought a GT to begin with.

10k pretty spot on, figure 5-6k for SC unless you find a used kit, another 1500 on an 8.8 rear and aluminum driveshaft, 300-600 for dual exhaust, unless of course you find some killer deals, tires brakes suspension to help the power.... Why not start with a tune and cold air kit and good tires, if those 2k in improvements dont do it for you, either save for your SC/turbo or trade up. Some people prefer fast 6'ers but there is no replacement for displacement, it will cost...

I say do it. You can do it in stages. rims/tire and brakes, then 8.8 rearend and aluminum driveshaft, the suspension and exhaust, then the grand finally.. SC or Turbo.

I'd Agree here. I bouget a V6 about 8 months ago, when I moved to houston. Since I was just out of college and starting out, I needed to save some money. I still wanted somthing nice, Found a great deal on my V6. I love it, but after meeting some people at shows and what not with gts/gt500s I have a bad case of V8 envy. Ive done some minor stuff to this, CAI w/ tune. Audio system and maybe exhaust here soon. But thats about all the farther ill go. Then in the next couple years I'll trade it in for a GT

$10K - seems pretty high to me.

Xcharger Xtreme - $5970 with tune and tuner
8.8 rear end to handle the added power - I picked up a new take off for $450, but you may have to spend $1,000 today. If you pick up one for the 2011+ you don't even have to swap the flange ($25 saved).

Install it yourself, easy to do.

$6,970

There isn't anything you need to do to the engine to handle the supercharger. I put the Xcharger on my car at 90,000 miles after two seasons on a 75 shot of nitrous. I have 198,800 on it today and still going. (over 100,000 miles with the supercharger)

Well... I personally would want the suspension and brakes to handle the extra speed, as well as an alum driveshaft, I'm sure we have all seen what happeneds to v6 driveshafts at high speeds. And I would get it dyno tuned... the tuner it comes with is just to get you to the shop... butbthats just me.

To me the best option is the X-Charger for: Fun, reliability, and drivability.....
