i posted a question about having a droning noise on my 2005 mustang gt. this drone can be made, with the car stopped, and by revving the engine up to about 2000 to 2200rpm's, with gear box in neutral, and hunt for the drone between these rpm's. i was told that this can be from a slightly out of balance flywheel or vibration damper. any other idea's ? If you have stock exhaust I'm really not sure what would cause that. I would show it to your dealer. Something like that will definately be covered under warranty. Though from what you are describing it could be a bad damper that is letting resonation in the cabin.
