Very Stupid Roush rear spring question...
So... which is the top and which is the bottom? My guess is to have the writing on the spring be right side up but I'm not sure.

If your Roush springs are designed like my Steeda Ultralites, the tight wound coils go up into the body (loose wound coils against the axle).
I'd recommend calling Roush Support to be absolutely certain.

You need to put in adj panhard bar. I had to order from BMR > notice how after lowering springs installed how the left siderear tire sticks out past the fender and the right side is inside fender. Adj. panhard bar corrects that. Also need wheel alig. but install the adj. panhard bar before so they line up all four wheels

I have the Roush Rear springs as well and the ride is slightly firmer. What is funny though about these springs, is that I looked under a Stg 2 and the springs are not the same?

Finally, here are the pics I promised. I'm not sure if I'm gonna keep them or not. I feel like they lowered the rear just a hair too much. These pics are with less than a half tank of gas. So if you figure a little settle time for the springs and a full tank, it might be too low. By the way, what's the best way to measure how the axle moved after the install?
And the money shot:

Most people install the rear springs only to level the car, which is you now. They're not into the forward rake of the factory stance.
Others, like myself, want to retain that forward rake after lowering, so spring selection is important as they're not all the same.
To measure axle shift, make sure you're on level ground and drop a Plumb Bob from the center of the rear fender lip down to the wheel center cap. Measure that distance between the string and the cap. Repeat for the other side and compare your measurements.

Thanks for the help on the plumb bob, I'll check it out tonight.
I'm not into the rake look of the stock springs. I was going for the level or almost level look that I've seen on other roush rear spring equipped 05's. But now it looks like the back is slightly lower than the front which is definately not what I'm after- look at the Sears Tower pic. I arranged the pigtail just how the stock spring was setup. I may cut a half coil off the factory springs and see where that gets me. Or pic up some Roush front springs but I didn't really want to do that originally. I've always had problems with rear springs on my mustangs. My '89 GT sat too high in the back. I can't find that happy medium.

Did some measuring, the rear is definately lower than the front. A little less than 29" from ground to fender in front and about 28.5" to 28.75" in the back and that's with a 1/4 tank of gas. More pics:

I've seen strange things. Another guy I know with an 05 with 17"s and stock rear was actually lower than mine with the Roush rears by a smidge. I was stumped, it was an even parking lot.

I think it looks great and it looks level regardless of what the tape measure says. The gap over the front and rear wheels seems to be about the same too. If leveling is what you wanted to do then, mission accomphlished.
