That V6 was pulling the left front wheel up at the starting line, they were working on getting the 2 step rev limiter to work on it but I am not sure if it has or not. They were running stock V6 wheels with Mickey Thompson ET street slicks. Without the bottle our car would have been toasted by that V6. They were running in wild street wich requires a 30 mile cruise with 3 back to back passes to find out who has the highest average without ever opening the hood or refueling. I would have to say that they had everyone beat on reliability and fuel mileage.

yes. I will be changing the gears before hand. I will be getting a shortblock built first as well. I have to replace the shortblock anyways.
I know Mike was running a 3.55 rear-end.. You can probably just stick your stock GT rear-end back in which will give you an engine rpm trap speed of 5821rpm.. Or you can go with a 3.31 gear.. This gear will allow you to increase the boost somewhat.. 131mph @ 5428rpm... With the 3.31 gear, with a slight increase in boost level, you can possibly be made famous.. LOL!

Thanks for the update on the V6.. Pulling up the left front tire would be a sight to see.. Well, I guess I'll keep myself busy with smaller mods until the 1st of the year..

I know that waiting on info and news from a company for this type of mod is hard, Mike told us that he wants to wait for everything to be ready and that means a coulple of kits on the shelf before advertising, I know he is teasing us with this thread but he thinks it will be Nov/Dec.

I feel like an idiot. For some reason, I just can't get it down pat. I did fix the link in my original post though.

I posted this on a few other threads and thought that some of you may be interested in the results of our Single Turbo Mustang Gt.

First is the dyno graph,

This is 11.5 psi, 104 octane unleaded race fuel.

At NMRA Finals st Bowling Green the car went 10.69@131.8, with a 1.51 60ft.

The motor, transmission and the clutch are stock with the only mods other than the single turbo are limited to an electric waterpump, the CMCV delete plates, 3.90 gear, Carriage House Engineering suspension and a custom SCT tune.
This Car is no skinny minny either, weighs #3590 as raced, retains all the leather seats, heat/air and stereo.
Mike, how many runs have you made on that HP ? I am basically asking how long you have had that much power to help gauge when or if it might blow at the current HP

Just ask David, this is what I have said all along. I have always planned on boosting power with a power adder, SC/Turbo/NO2, some do it better than others but they ALL love to have the load of a taller gear up to a point.

At Bowling Green Mike informed David and myself that he is running a shorter gear than 3.55, I can't remember exaclty what but I think it is in the 3.90 range.

That looks like the 10.89 pass, I think that was the only pass I had in the left lane all weekend.

Pricing has yet to be determined, As stated above please contact me directly.

Just a couple of corrections, Just so no one should ever call b.s.
1: The V8 car runs a 3.90 gear the V6 Runs a 3.55
2: The V6 runs JBA shorties, just because we've been too lazy to change them to stock, the stock manifolds will be reinstalled in the near future.
3: The V6 was unable to fulfill the three pass deal in WS, we had a piece of debris get loose in the exhaust, prevent the turbo from spinning in the first round, so we pulled it out.
4: The V6 Combo is in the earliest stages, I will post dyno results as they become available once we have decidied on some more of the critcal components.
5: I am unsure of what power level would cause the piston to fail, We have been fortunate to not find out as of yet.

Bar None to all 05+ V6 owners!! This is the gear set of ultimate choice for us.. Definately going to be my choice!! Unless Mike has something in the works on the 3.55 range for the 7.5 rear-ends! The 3.45 is where we need to be...

With a Turbo system which spools up real tight in the last 1/8 of a 1/4 mile run, this gear set is the perfect setup running the 7.5 rear-end..

These are the numbers for 1/4 mile and dailey driving use based on my wheel size which is 26 inches.. A better average is 27".. Based on a 12sec run and some change @ 111 mph for starters, we're looking at an engine rpm trap speed of--

1/4mile= 4875rpm @ 111Mph

Dailey Driver @ 70MPH= 3074RPM

http://www.drivetrainspecialists.com/categ...oduct-1072.html

What you will notice is with the finish trap speed of the SOHC 4.0 motor, there is room for more boost.. My suggestion is get some dished pistons installed from here which should be available sometime real soon.. We already have forged rods, so thats not a problem.. Just go with dished pistons to lower the compression ratio, and increase the boost above 8.7psi, which is what Powerhouses V6 mad a 12.55 ET run at..

http://www.supersixmotorsports.com/

Of course, if Powerhouse decides to offer a Dished piston kit for our SOHC 4.0's then his are also an option.. LOL!

Thanks for the correction Mike!! So if you are running the 3.90 gear, that changes alot of things for the GT.. 3.90's huh.. HMMM!! What do you think of the 3.45 gear set for the V6? Would that leave more room, or is the 3.55 our best bet?

I would assume the 3.45 gear set because you switched to the 8.8 rear-end in your V6.. Which I'm not willing to do.. I want my setup true blue V6... No GT parts at all, period!
