TILLMAN TUNES

Hey Chris, the shift points work great. For those wondering (since I have to add technical information), I had my shift points adjusted by having 1st shift to 2nd at about 3200rpms, 2nd to third is a bit higher.

The only issue was when 3rd shifted into 4th it was too short, so some adjustments were made to 4th and 5th.

I think you are finding out why I stayed with my 2nd and 3rd shifts @ 3000 rpm. I have my OD set to come in at 55 MPH. So if you keep raising the rpm shift points for 2nd and 3rd and have 5th set @ 55 or 60 mph 4th gear is going to get really short and pretty much useless. That has been my observation to date. But keep on tweeking your tune my friend. I'm always in for something better!!!!!!!!:hail: I'm happy with what I got. Your the Guinea Pig now!!!:poke:

Ya it's been a bit of trial and error. Thankfully chris has been good to work with. No no you still are the guinea pig. I have been called pig 1 or 2 million times tho. lol

I must add a big THANKS to CR @ Tillman. We spent a couple of hours this week going over some specs, then he had to help me through the X3 Firmware update, and lastly CR took the time to correct MY error on the X3 serial number (damm old eyes). Anyway...installed the latest "ALL-OUT" 93 Octane tune, with the OD shift delayed to 50MPH....a 20min drive turned into an hour of pure speed and pleasure. Had been using the 93 Street/Race Tune, but this new update is simply amazing. Smoother throttle response, tires barking at every shift at WOT, just pure pleasure! Again, THANKS CHRIS!

I too noticed that it tends to shift a little too soon for me as well.

I haven't tried adjusting it yet but I may.

I have an XCal2 but I did notice it would let me adjust the shift point (WOT MPH, and shift pressure).

I haven't messed with it yet because I don't know what I'm doing and I probably can't adjust it properly anyhow.
