Throttle response
 

I am bracket racing my 2006 Mustang GT Auto trans with a eforce supercharger. Problem is when coming of the start line the throttle has a bad delay when you put the pedal to the floor. pretty much impossible to cut a good light . anyone else had this problem and have a fix? Something in the tune I can adjust?

So I looked up that kit, and unless you've piecemealed it together, you got the whole thing, right? Which means their throttle body and intake. And that tune. Should be happy, I'd say, but... eh. Stuff happens.

I'm thinking you just need to do the throttle pedal calibration thing It gets off track, so from time to time you need to do it. Sorta the same thing as the auto windows. Just happens. Here ya go, if you don't know: Key on, don't start, press pedal down to the floor before 5 seconds are up, and release. Start the car, see if that does it.

If it don't... Well, you might need dyno sessions and a tuner who can see what's goin on, if you're not so inclined. I know I'm not... yet. :D But at that point the list is fairly long of things to be looking for:

Don't suppose you've cleaned the throttle body and relearned the ECU...?
Throttle body motor is lagging/bound.
Computer's ticked off.
Pedal's messed up (it's been known to happen, you can open it up and bend the fingers closer to the sweep contacts inside it, maybe... or just replace it...)
Intake's causing a choking problem.
Injectors aren't happy.
Coils aren't happy.
Wiring issues.

And probably a plethora of other stuff, but that'll do for now. Point being, if it's not the pedal calibration, and it's not a dirty throttle body, then there's a laundry list to then start checking. And where a tuner and tools may be needed. Picoscope might be a thing that needs to see what's going on.

But I bet it's the pedal calibration thing. If you've not done that, that is. After that... :dunno: Could be anything.
