Throttle Lag?

I've been using Doug's 93 race tune since May and about a month ago I started to notice a hesitation from the time I step on the gas to the time they car actually takes off. Usually happens when stopped at a light. I enjoy punching it and enjoyed the instant power I was getting from Doug's tune. I have cleaned my filter and even retuned it back to just the 93 tune and it still hesitates. When I was driving this weekend I had someone pull along side of me and asked me if I had a blower. I said no and asked why he asked and he told me he noticed the hesitation and that sometimes having a blower causes that. I'm not getting any error or check engine reading so I just confused what could be causing this problem. I have e-mailed Doug but he hasn't e-mailed me back yet so I was just wondering if anyone on here had this problem and what was the solution. Thanks for your help

Clean the MAF sensor, and disconnect the battery's cable for at least 15 minutes.
If no luck, then reinstall the 93 Race tune, and recalibrate the gas pedal/throttle body:
-Turn off all electrical devices.
-Turn the ignition key to the ON position where the instrument panel lights illuminate(Do not start the engine).
-After the beeping stops, smoothly press the gas pedal to the floor while counting 1001-1002-1003.
-Quickly release the gas pedal when it's floored.
-Wait 6 seconds, and turn the key to the OFF position.
-Wait 6 sec., and turn the key back to the ON position.
-Repeat the process 2 more times.

Just looking for clarification on this. Are you saying to take around 3 seconds to press the gas pedal to the floor?

I've never seen that before, and that is INCREDIBLY helpful. That's the one thing I've always noticed about this car is the throttle lag from the start. It went away a little bit after I got my tune, but not entirely. I'd really like to do that to my car, but I think I'd be too worried that I would bend the wires too far or mess something up...

Just take the intake loose and unbolt the throttle body. It is easy to unbolt and unhook. I personally just used a clean shop towel and wiped off all the grime and black goop that was in there. Move the butterfly open by hand and get what you can see. You can also use some TB cleaner as shown in a previous post on this topic. Either way, not a big deal.
