STS single Turbo
Any body installed the STS single turbo.
Feedback? Thanks |
I have not installed one, but my friend has one. Believe it or not, spool time is really low, and if you're running 5-6 psi, you do not need an intercooler. Because the turbos are located in the rear, the temperatures are significantly lower.

Friend of mine has one, last I heard he was putting down 475rwhp intercooled. Haven't heard of anything bad yet. Takes forever to spool from what I've heard other people mention.
I dont car for its akward location behind the wheel. |
I've also been interested in the STS turbo and would like to hear from people who are running them. I like the idea of the rear mount that way the weight is added in the rear and not up front. I have also heard that there is not very much lag, but would like to hear that from someone running one. There are alot of corvette guys running them and they seem to really like the setup.

Just checked out their website, sounds very interesting! 430rwhp on 6psi for 4k with a relatively easy install difficulty sounds like a great combination!
Would love to hear feedback from S197 guys with one of these |
