I looked but haven't seen a side-by-side comparison in aftermarket shifters/bushings. The stock shifter leaves a lot to be desired, but I don't know what direction I want to go.
The Steeda bushings- anyone have them? How is the shift, firmed up alot, bearly noticable, still missing third like a champ? etc
Steeda Tri-axe- How is the throw, how much shorter. Noise level. Etc.
Same for the Hurst,
Any other brands out there?
I am really leaning towards the Steeda bushings, but would like to hear from someone with them, would you spend the money on a full shifter if you could do it again?
Has anyone driven cars whith the different options, how do they compare?

TIA

Scott

I got the steeda bushings. They were $24 with shipping. Was it worth $24, yes. I did not expect a lot with $24, but I did notice a firmness increase.

I have the Hurst and I love it. Self install. Very easy to install. Do a search for Hurst and you'll find lots of write ups.

I felt one at a car show, and I knew I had to have it. I would have paid more for it!
