pypes mid muff
I am thinking about switching my stingers for the mid muff but I would like everybodys opionion on whether I should or not. I have been really happy with my prochamber and stingers ( one of the best IMO) but I am looking for a new mod and I think the pypes mid muff sounds amazing. How is the drone compard to the stingers, doesn't bother me but i'm just curious. Most importantly, where is the cheapest place to pick them up.... Thanks Adam

Hey Adam,
You might want to PM Larry (Aircare84) about his experience with the Pypes mid muffler system. Are you running an offroad Prochamber? I don't remember. Larry liked the PMM system when he was running the stock cats but when we put his longtubes on he only drove it for like a week before taking in off and selling it. He said it made his car sound like a Harley on the highway.

they are definately loud, but i dont think they drone really....
i love the sound of mine with my longtubes. honestly you have to have an exhaust on for at least 700 miles before i would say its broken in properly and is gonna sound like it will for the rest of its life span
i love mine.
i have some vids up on a thread here if you want to hear them with long tubes and a catted x pipe

Of course I want to hear vids, i'm kinda of under the asumption that this is the road to the 2v sound that I love... I love the sound of the stingers but they seem so tame...

I definitely LOVE mine and am completely glad I traded my Stingers. The only thing that pisses me off, is that there is still a subtle amount of trumpeting right around 2500rpm and its not very noticable but I still feel like its hindering me from having the 100% perfect exhaust.
In light of that, I do not feel like the MM system is that thing thats causing it, but I am still pondeing whether I will go with an O/R H, custom hiflo catted H, O/R X, or add resonators.
In Short, i love the system. haha

Do you mind posting your vid, I would like to hear it again. Did you add the Pmm and the lt's at the same time..if not what diffs di you notice between the rwo exhausts. One thing i do not want to loose is the deep aggressive tone of the stingers.

Yeah I added Lts/X/Pypes MM all at the same time. If you stay with the Prochamber I really do not see you losing ANY part of the aggressive tone. However, the tone when downshifting was not as great with the PMM when compared to the Stingers but the pissed off sound up top made up for it ten fold!

I don't know if you wanna ride with me. Funny thing man, my buddy has been waiting for me to give him a ride. Well I almost killed us today! Almost lost it at 70mph. Dam boost and no traction...

95% of the time I can keep it under control but sometimes I get too anxious and punch it when shifting to second and thats when it gets out of control..
