P0191 help

Ok last night, as I turned on to my buddy's street after a 45 minute drive, the car lost power, died and when I restarted it she barely ran. Tried to play with it for a while with the same results. Checked the code it was a fuel pressure code P0191. My buddy googled it and I guess lots of ppl had to replace the fuel pump module or some ****. Said **** it and had her towed back to my shop. Just put the key in her and she ran perfect. Took it for a ride, beat the **** out of her, no hiccups. Only weird thing was that it said 0 miles to E with a half tank but maybe that was from taking the negative off last night. Just about a yea ago the EXACT same thing happened to me on 95, I was able to coast off the exit. That time we actually hooked up a pressure tester and the pressure was fine but the gas was clearly trash, full of rusty water. DROVE it to Ford and they couldn't figure it it because it ran perfect. Picked it up, dumped a can o seafoam in it and never had another problem. Until last night. Any ideas? Bad fuel again or is a module taking a ****?

Pretty sure it took the glory crap. This time I got 3 codes. One of which was P1233, indicating a fuel pump driver module failure. Hopefully that's all it is. Fingers crossed.

There was some guy named Montana here awhile back - said he was in Lebanon. His car would sputter above 3 & 4k on his vid like it wasn't getting full fuel. He checked all the sensors and the pump with a meter. All checked out. Then suddenly the car worked fine. Never did pin it down but he did take the sensor by the pump off a few times and thinks maybe the ground wire was the problem.

Na it's only like 10 months old. It's highly intermittent. Just replaced the fuel pump driver module. Wouldn't die in order to get checked. Well see what happens.

Yea I read something posted by a guy on another forum when I googled the problem. Said he played with the grounds and it fixed it. Didn't see any further posts. The fpdm was only $70 so if it wasn't the fix it didn't break the bank. I got a failure code for the fpdm though so hopefully I'm good.
