I'm thinking about getting one from jegs for $160 shipped. Before I buy it I want to know what exactly it's gonna for me. I know it's gonna make my car louder and give it more power but I want to know if it's gonna help with low end torque. Pros? Cons? Thanks guys

I've been thinking about this one too since it's such a cost effective mod. I'd be glad to hear from folks who have had them long term, especially in emission testing states.

The pros/cons I've read from searches are moderate power increase, good increase in volume, but with a change in the exhaust smell that can be a giveaway if you're pulled over (it's federal law not to remove cats, so any state can bust you)

I've had it for years.. you will get the smell. No doubt about that.
When I get pulled over I just kill the car.

The noise is deffinatly louder. I'm running duel chamber dynomax mufflers and it still is very noisy.

Don't expect to feel any gains or loses because its minimal.

I want to trade out my off road x for a h... Any takers
