New XCal II!
Just got word from them that it should be out in the next 30 days. Here is part of the email that I received this morning!
"Kirk,
The Xcal 2 should be available in the next 30 days. There is no pricing
information yet available. Please check back with a dealer in your area
in
10 to 15 days.
Thanks for the inquiry,"

If I had a nickel for everytime I've heard "It'll be out in a couple of weeks" I could afford that new super charger.

I hear ya on that and am wondering about those of us who recently purchased the "old" model.....I belive I read on the SCT forum that they were going to make some sort of deal for those recent purchasers of the Xcal I.....haven't seen any details though.

What exactly is the XCal 2? What's the difference between that and the one I have now?

I believe it's more like the Predator in that you can make certain adjustments to your tune right on the unit itself - rather than having to alter the file on the PC then upload into the Xcal unit.

It is more like the Predator , it will read and delete trouble codes and I believe it will do the data logging. Someone posted a link in here to an add for it and if you read it carefully , it said you still have to connect it to the computer to change any parameters in the tune ...
Off topic from the XCal II. I am also interested in seeing what kind of performance gain that new Sniper Tuning module can get. The only problem I forsee is that it is not going to be widely used by Dyno places like the Xcal or the predator

xcal2 has been pushed back a bunch of times...Bryan and I were hoping to trade our xcal1's over a month ago and it didn't work out...It'll be so nice to have all the best features rolled into one unit from SCT at some point...worth the wait!
