mgw shifter question
I'm looking at picking up a new shifter..think I'm going to go with the MGW (was considering the Hurst as well..) any one know of a good dealer who's on this forum to deal with? I wont bother asking for opinions on the two as I understand it's more personal preference...MGW looks to be high quality component..was hoping for a Canadian dealer to save $$ in duties etc. but they don't seem to be a popular item up here, a couple of the "mustang"speed shops hadnt even hears of them..one even thought I meant a shifter for a MG when I asked lol..thanks in advance..Trevor

Just order it directly from MGW. That's what I did and I live in Edmonton. George will ship it in the mail (relatively small box) which means you won't get screwed with stupid brokerage fees. All I paid was the difference in the currency which won't be a problem for you now. You might have to pay GST but that seems completely random. Of all the things I've received from the US this way I pay GST on some and not others so that part is a crap shoot but considering most Canadian retailers expect us to grab our ankles I'd just deal with MGW directly.
