Has anyone heard from Jay about his re-designing of the intake pvc tube? I have emailed him twice now and have gotten no reply. It was not like that before, he used to be rather quick at replying to emails. I am just anxious to get my CAI back on my car.

 

Dysan, I have returned all emails on this. I think either I didn't get yours or you didn't get mine, but I assure you I'm not ignoring anyone.

I literily just got off the phone with the machinest doing the inserts. They are running them now, tonight and tomorrow and will ship to me on Friday.

This guy is one of the best in the buisness and assures me this is the ticket to all the JLT troubles.

I have been very busy and needed to stay away from the boards for awhile to get cought up.
Sorry for the delay and as always I'm here for anything.

I will have a formal letter going out to ALL JLT 2005 GT customers about this. Those who are having a issue or just want this for piece of mind will get one or I will accept the pipe for me to perform the fix.

It will be a very easy thing to do.

I will post pics and start shipping the middle of next week.

Hey Jay, since I bought the kit used from Jerry, can I still get an insert as well? I am willing to pay if need be. Just let me know. Not having any issues, just for peace of mind I guess...

 

I never thought you were ignoring people, and I'm sorry if my post came across that way. I just really want to get my intake back on. I will need a new pipe since mine is deformed and I won't be able to just slip the inserts in it.

I look forward to it.

 

so all NEW orders will come with the new part, correct?

Do we send an E mail requesting the part or parts like we did the heat shield? If so please put me on the list. Mine has not deformed yet but I have removed it until your fix. What about the ones that already have a deformed pipe. Do they send the old pipe for a new one?

 

I will be mailing a recall letter and I will post it when I know for sure the part works and is in my hand, detailing the process in which this will be taken care of.

Thanks for the fix.
Would it help you to send E-mails instead of sending letters out to everyone? This also may be quicker for some and save you some postage.
I would be okay with an E-mail from you on this issue. I also do want the inserts as mine has not deformed yet, but it is off the car since it is so hot here in Houston.

I can't wait to get it back on my car.
