Eibach Pro-kit
Steeda Upper strut mounts
Tokico D-Specs

..and which ever 1-2 other items are a good idea to do at this time. any recommendations to take advantage of the labor as far as whats already being done above?

I would say do the bump steer kit along with your springs.

Since I can't get the brakes I want without changing to wheels I don't want, I'm thinking of the following on the suspension.

I'd appreciate comments and/or suggestions.

My goals are to maintain ride quality and limit NVH issues. This will be strictly a recreational / fun driver.

Steeda Ultra-lites
Steeda G-Trac Brace
Steeda HD Upper Strut Mts
Steeda Billet Camber Adjuster

I already have FRPP Strut Tower Brace.

I looked at the G-Trac Stage 1 -- the Adjustable Panhard rod looks like a good idea -- but it doesn't come with the Ultra-lites and I don't need strut tower brace.

Thanks for any suggestions / input.

i believe the drop on the ultralites is mild enough that you can skip the camber adjusters, and you already get an extra degree of camber out of the strut mounts anyway already..

Hi, I want to lower my mustang.
-Noticeably lower for better appearance
-A little harsher ride quality is acceptable

Any recommendations?

Eibach Pro Kit w/Tokico D-Specs and then all the related other parts. Read this thread for the full list.

I.E. Camber bolts, Steeda Sport Springs, Steeda X5 Ball joints, Steeda Bumpsteer kit, Tokico D-spec dampers, BMR Rear sway bar, BMR Upper and lower control arms, Steeda G-Trac brace and BMR Panhard bar. Under $1200?

A strut tower brace on a S197 car makes a difference. It all but eliminates front tortional twist caused by chassis flex. You must remember these cars don't have a frame to keep them straight. Each part of the car relies on another part to keep it in line. This is the same principle found in airplane construction or even a team sport. United the parts stand devided they are just parts of a much bigger picture.

Thanks for the update. My signature has my in process mods -- although I'm being convince that I need to change the rear sway bar and endlinks. Any experience out there with the Steeda rear bar and endlinks w/o changing the front bar. Other mods I'm installing are in the signature. I am trying to get it right the first time for a really nice riding and handling street vert.

what is convincing you that you need to change the rear bar?? I would say for street use there is no need. Spend your cash else where imo.

The stock rear sway bar is crap and so weak. The front however is one you get get by with NOT replacing it is actually pretty decent.

I have held firm against replacing the front. The advice on the rear has to do with the change helping to limit understeer a bit.

Agree. I did the rear BMR, and the bushings are nice, no additional NVH (not the case with CHE), and understeer reduced. Also, super easy to DIY install.

Well, after reading ALL of this thread, MANY times, I think I FINALLY have it figured out...pretty much. Steeda package #1, just for appearance and handling purposes...nothing hardcore. Time for bed...

I replaced the Rear and end links (end links are required with the Convertible -- but not the coupe) I cannot be happier with it. Looks great. Ride is, IMHO, better than stock -- firm, well damped and comfortable. Handling is much improved no roll, no squat and plenty of comfort. Alignment was easy and perfect to factory specs. Pictures will be posted over the weekend.

I went to my local shop that has a alot of good reference cause I want to lower my car. The shop owner told me that with the sportlines I wont need anything else, all I need is the springs and a realingment. Is this true? I keep reading on here that if you drop it you'll need more than springs.

No you will need a adj. panhard bar no matter what springs you get. I know many people say otherwise but i can assure you it will be needed. I went with the Pro Kit and my rear end shfted over about 1/2" to the left so the adj. panhard was a must have item. Thanfully i had one already. If your going to lower your car don't do it half assed do it right

springs and panhard bar would be fine? How long should my stock shocks last with the sportline springs?
