It would take way to much room here to List all the Mods/changes.
So instead here is the on going build Thread.

N/A 3v, 302 rwph / 317 rwtq

- CAI / Steeda UDP's / FRPP shorty headers
- Strange single adj struts/shocks
- Cobra Jet springs
- Detroit Truetrac diff / 4.10 gears / LPW diff cover
- Metro UCA/UCA bracket and LCA's
- BMR relocation brackets
- M/T ET street bias ply rear tires on 17" OEM rims
- OEM stock shifter / clutch / 2pc drive shaft / intake manifold / cams / etc.

I'm still dialing in strut/shock/tire pressure settings. Plan to get a set of skinny front wheels/tires this winter and shed a bit of weight for the spring. Working on driver mod too (this was my first year of racing).

This was my first time to the drag strip with this car all stock except for a set of GT500 mufflers!
Best run of 13.02 at 110.4 mph!
I was really hoping to hit the 12 second mark but fell a little short.
I was very impressed with the trap speeds out of this car stock.
110+ MPH that's fast!
But I was crossing the finish line in 4th gear @ 6700+ rpm and bouncing off the rev limiter as I was crossing the line.
My 60 ft time were horrible @ 2.21 no one on street tires were much better!

Does anyone know how much of a difference the procal gunner will make in 1/4 mi. Performance.
I'm putting mine on next week!

Not bad man, keep it up.
Procal tuner? if so I think you should go SCT on the tuner, much more options for tunes with greater gains than what ford supplies.

I already have the procal, plus I work as a service writer at japan brand X, and friends @ the local ford dealers have told me about several occasions that people have had there warranty claims denied on motor issues because of having an aftermarket tune, ( in most cases the tunes probably did not cause the problem but were the cause of warranty claim denials) with the procal tune I still maintain a warranty! Plus I'm not looking to go all out just get a little more power and better throttle response which the procal should give me!

After talking to several people at the track last night it seemed every one was running .2 - .35 slower than normal because the track was not really prepped at all! So I could have easily broke into the 12s if the track would have been preped!

Spun bad on the third pass after following several street cars that drove through the water box

I missed 2nd gear on the last pass, it may have bested my 12.339... There's still some tweaking to do with tire pressure and shock/strut settings. I may have a high 1.5x 60' left in the car, and maybe 12.2x ET by years end.

Have not run our '08 GT 5 speed with 3.31 rear on a strip, but back in the mid '70s I did play some at New London Dragstrip near Lynchburg, I worked there too. I was looking through some old papers in a small wooden box, found some time slips from the '70s in there, with notes I made at the time.

I had a '73 Mustang Grande with 302, 2bbl, C-4 automatic, 3.00 rear, dual exhaust with Walker replacement Mach 1 mufflers (it was quiet, but I only did it for looks, V8 need duals) run:
19.69 sec quarter @ 67 mph
Was one really hot day, I see I noted with AC on just looking at the slip.
It was "bracket racing", I think I won and lost in the next round when I broke out with a sub 18 sec run ... it hooked better maybe, and I likely turned the AC off that run, my FUBAR.

Just to add, I did get a 13.01 at 104 mph in my '69 Dodge Dart Swinger 340, 4 speed, 3.91 open rear on recap tires, but I had monkeyed with the pinion snubber height and left - right rear shock bias. I noted on that time slip that I edged out my buddy's '70 'Cuda 440-6pack 4 speed with 3.54 posi on that run, but he wasn't as good at driving as he thought. The 340 did have an Ededlbrock LD 340 intake and Holley 3310 780cfm carb but was otherwise bone stock then. Cam, headers, ignition all came later. My buddy's younger brother still has the 'Cuda. I wish I had the Swinger. I also broke out once in bracket racing on a 14.10 dial in in my '65 GTO 4 spd with 4.10s on street tires, I was really trying to go easy on it, granny shifting, etc, run a 13.66 by mistake and the cam gear came loose in top of 4th and it bent 4 intake and 4 exhaust valves. It had a '69 400 RA we put in there to replace a tired & very loose 389. Muncie 4 spd was a 2.54 low M-21 and rear was a 12 bolt from a Chevelle at a bone yard.
