Yeah, I have decided that things I buy are going to be USPS or Fedex if I have to. I am done with UPS. jlb I am glad to hear your install was painless. I am actually taking my car to the dealer on Monday, and picking it up that night, so hope to have the system installed when I get it back. (there is a big chunk of chrome missing from my ins. cluster IUP)

Probably has something to do with the fact that I can't say the term I usually use on this board

The sluggishness will go away, just give it time. You really don't think they're that loud?
Different ears I guess . They're alot louder than the Magnaflows and Magnapacks that I've heard.
Maybe longtube headers, off-road x-pipe and SLP's are in your future

Do what I did, get someone to rev your car for you while you stand behind it.
Then post your thoughts

I've got a stretch that I use on the way home that's not an underpass, but a narrow access road for the freeway. It's a 12ft wall on one side and 2-3 story buildings on the other.
Man, that is pure sweetness

I think we should all meet in a tunnel somewhere, line up and let em rip.

Yeah, that sounds fun..maybe you all could take a ride out to Music City and let me show you a good time...a bit of a drve, espicially from out west. One place that's really awesome is Gatlinburgh/Pigion Forge in east TN. They usually have several car events (See "Daytona Beech Bike week on four wheels in the Great Smokey Mountains...and the locals love it...mosly. And there is a ton of fun (non-car) stuff the do for the rest of the family. But there's nothin' like taking over a tourisp strip with a bunch o' hot-rods. Awesome cabins, too. I would love to put together some info for those of us that would be interested.
My wife just left for a week long business trip, she's usually gone M-Th to visit one of her practices, so I will try to hook up w/ a buddy on some sound clips of the FRPP...it's slowly growing on me...from some other threads I've read, a good CAI will really make the exhaust come alive more. That;s next on my list, but I'm thinking of some frpp shorties too. Anyone have shorties installed??? Big difference??? Waste of $$$??? I guess my short list of mods goes about like this: Any and all feedback is appreciated. The last hot rod I had was 20+ years ago in high school. '69 bick block Camaro...Edelbrock, Holley, Crane, Mallory, B&M turbo400 lot's of Moroso chrome, NO COMPUTER...bottom line, this old dog needs to learn some new tricks.
BASE =2005 GT Prem, Widveil Blue, lt graphite, IUP active anti-theft
MODS
FRPP exhaust (installed)
FRRP strut tower brace (installed)
FRPP CAI (same as S&B) (on order)
FRPP Shorties
FRPP/B&M short throw shifter...if it's released this century
FRPP 4.10 gears
and a quality tune (hear great thinks come from Doug @ Bama)
maybe suspension upgrades later

Yes, that would be great to meetup if you ever make it over this way. We're thinking about a Memorial Day roadtrip next year to San Diego.

But you drive a Mustang, so you can get here a lot faster. Don't mind those pretty blue lights that will pop up behind you, they are for decoration!

Yeah I got some on my car!
Well be taking some sound clips of stock, compared to JBA, compared to the FRPP S type which should be in the mail tomorrow. Can anybody host sound clips?
