I just replaced the starter on my 05 Gt with the Ford Performance starter but I noticed that the original starter had a plastic cover that went over the electrical connections but nothing came with the FP starter and the original cover does not go over the new starter due to not being in the exact position and the length of the fittings. Does anybody know of a piece that is out there that will cover this. I figure if it came standard then it's probably a good idea to put on the new one.

 

I wouldn't worry about it myself.
