Long time reader....first time poster...

I thought it would be important to pass on my story...I own a 2006 Tungsten Gray GT (auto). After putting 1600 miles on the car, I began to notice an odd vibration--mostly coming through the gear shifter, but elsewhere as well. I took the car to the dealership, and after 2 days with the car, they told me they had no idea what was wrong.

A couple days later, they brought in a "specialist" to look at it. After another full day, he couldn't figure out what was wrong either...he just said "The other GT's I've driven don't do that."

Finally, they decided to switch out the driveshaft with another GT they had on the lot....that did it. So, another week later, they finally got a driveshaft ordered and installed (the other GT was already sold, so they had to put that driveshaft back).
