Difference in brakes

Hello,

Is there any difference between brakes in 00-04 and 05-09 GT? I am asking because I am not sure, if it is possible to use older big brake kit on newer stang... Thanks for answer :)

I can't tell you why ... But there is a difference ... I found a set of 2000 cobra r break no brake kit on CL for a steal

But multiple people told me they won't work

I found D2 Racing big brake kit (cheaper then stoptech, brembo, roush etc. and good), but only for 00-04 and they won't do it for S197.. There is no difference in diameter, dimensions.. Maybe because ABS?
