I am sold on these cams, awesome comparison videos! I'm running Flowmaster AT's and this definitely seems to be a much better upgrade than longtubes to get that mean muscle car sound

I know you guys will grill me for caring about gas mileage and owning a gt, but I'm gonna ask it... Do you have any numbers before and after of what it did to your mileage?

I went from 24.8 ave to 20.4 ave mpg. That's with 4.10s and quite a few aggressive starts each tank full. Well worth it.

2009 GT, Vapor, 5-sp, FRPP CAI, GT 500 Throttle Body, Underdrive Pulleys, CMDPlugs, BBK LT and Catted X, Magnapacks, Hurst STS, BBR Stage 1 Billet Cams, Dyno tune by BBR, and 4.10 FRPP. 353 rwhp/332

You said you needed a new timing cover gasket. Why would you need that? Every cam install instruction sheet I've read doesn't have you messing with the front of the engine at all.

Alright, that makes sense. I don't plan on messing with the timing at all when I do my cams.

Yea I think the gasket was like $20... My mechanic said it makes life a lot easier. He's been a ford tech like 1.5 times my existence so I probably should have told him to read the Internet instructions first lmao

I've read where you can cut up a garden hose and wedge it in their to achieve the same end. It's all about wedging the timing chain so it doesn't move around at all while you do the swap.

I was just telling myself to lay off the major mods for a little bit. Maybe I can sneak into the performance shop without my wife knowing...
